Yes they are.
A few years ago the name was ligniperda and now it´s ligniperdus.
As far as i know, some people thought, the endings of the words (the gender) should be the same and so the name was changed.

This is not a chat. Not getting a answer about 6 hours isn´t a big deal, no reason to be angry.
Anyway, yes it is the same species. It was renamed recently because it seems that the rules of naming a species weren´t correctly followed. The name "Camponotus" is male but the species part "ligniperda" was feminin so the both parts didn´t fit, so it was changed to the male ending -us, since it was ment to be an adjective. It was sayed that there is a gramatical reason why it could be named "ligniperda" but I didn´t really understand it with my knowlage of latin. Anyway it got changed to Camponotus ligniperdus earlier this year.
I´m not sure if Camponotus ligniperda remains a synonym because it seems it was a simple mistake.
