Hi,

I am looking for some help deciding on a new species of ant to buy, I have got Messor barbarus and Pheidole pellidula I do not know much about other species and would like somer advice on a good interesting ant species to get next.

i would recommend some kind of F ormica .. dont know why but they look cool and they are agressive i have rufibarbis they are awsome but only 5 workers so they are not that active

More the problem is whats available to buy. I scour the main seller sites daily and the stock never seems to change much :( Anyways, for a cheap species that is always active and easy to keep try Polyrhachis dives.

I dont know about them they need room and risk class signature... i mean it doesnt bother me but it does in a way :D and im so sad that i cant order 2 serbia... :S
