So i caught my new queen about a week ago just after a late nuptial flight in Scotland. I've read that L asius niger should be hibernated from september to march. However, should i hibernate her alone? I think she has a few eggs that is all.

Wait until October to hibernate her, there are still ants foraging at the moment. I would wait until some workers have hatched too. Egg to worker around 40 days.
