oNIALLo: Dried Food for Lasius niger (4. Mai 2010 16:10)

i'm getting a bit tired of catching insects from outside to feed my L lasius niger colony, i was wondering would dried food e.g. dried meal worms, blood worms be nutritious enough for the ants ( ive heard the ants suck out the moist protein and then feed it to the brood)

any help will be greatly appreciated

Hiya mate,

Just google livefood and TONS of places will come up... all are pretty good like... Meal worms last longer than crickets and are easier to breed.. Roches however are the easiest of all to breed... You ca find them pretty cheap on ebay :)
