is there anyway to prevent them if i dont have the cash to order that stuff from Antstore, couse im owrried bout they might escape thru the lid
the workers are small and i think the lid is also?

Hi,

you can use vaseline to prevent them from escaping. Just apply some on the upper border of your farm and/or arena/outworld.

and how thick an layer!?

I just use regular vaseline as you use for your skin. You don't have to apply it very thick just make sure that the height of the vaseline layer is twice as high as the length of your lasius niger.
