Hi,

How long can I keep M.rubra in a test tube?

Queen and 20 workers with plenty of water.

Keep them in a tube like for a nest or keep them in a tube to send them to somewhere ?

If you use the tube for a nest area you can keep them in there as long as the tube is big enough for all the ants to fit in. (connect the tube to an out world for feeding)

To ship you can keep them in a tube for 1 or 2 weeks, make sure they had enough food before you send them.
