Rubidium: ANTS live in a connection tube.. is this normal? (4. Apr 2010 20:42)

Hi All,

I have recently bought Camponotus ligniperda queen and 7 workers. 5 days ago.
They live in a standard Alpha Ants Starter Set - A.
The problem is that they have moved to live in the connecting tube and seem to like it there.
I have wet (not too much) sand and they wander in every part, but still remain living in the tube.
Is this normal? Do they need something extra to move into the farm? otherwise they seem active and eat plenty

Please advise me if there is anything i need to do/change.
Thanks in advance!

i found that it is normal. when they get more workers they will expand in to different areas. I think they just like the shelter of the connecting tube.
