skurk: Purely for decoration (14. Jan 2010 18:45)

I want to have a different kind of foraging area for my (brand new, still in hibernation) Lasius niger colony.
I was thinking of making a tiny city, as seen in those miniature train setups.
However, I am not sure if the ants would be able to tolerate the glue and fake grass and stuff I would use.
Has anyone else attempted this? It would look awesome, as even the tiny L. niger ants would be as big as dogs.

Don't think that anyone did this before. At least not that i know of.
If the glue is dry i don't think it will harm the ants, but i'm not sure of it. You can give it a try.

As Jimmy says, as long as you let the glue dry properly it shouldn't be an issue.
