Hi, i received my ants this morning through ants store. 2 days from germany to my country england which is great but unfortunately the queen is dead and a few of the ants, what should i do?

Take a picture and notify Antstore, I believe that, if the queen has died within 3 days from arrival, they will replace it (not sure though, but I believe so).

Thanks for your help, they have said they will send a new colony tomorrow. Will i be able to add the new colony to the 10 workers i already have or will they attack each other?

You can add 1 worker at the time and see how they react.

I have put 1 worker in and for the last 3 hours they have been all around it. I mean they have formed a circle around it for 3 hours but i dont think its dead yet? Are they slowly killing it or maybe accepting it?

We cant tell it by reading your text. You just have to keep and eye on them and wait. You will see if they accept the new worker.

hmm its now almost a day after i put the worker in, cant see any dead ants so unless they have eaten it. To be honest when they were all over it i thought they were attacking it, how long does it take 10 ants to kill another ant? Will probably try adding another ant in a few days and another until i have added all the ants.
