Hi everyone,

The instructions are in German, and I'm not sure what to do. I'm looking through this forum, and people are talking about a drainage tube - I don't think this was included in the starter pack?

What do I need to get additionally to set up?

I'd really appreciate your help on this as I'm a bit clueless on how to start.

Thought I'd resurect this topic rather than start the same again. Antstore starter kits do not come with drainage tubes and yet you're supposed to use one? What am i supposed to do instead? here is everything that's included
Contents:
1x glass M - antfarm 25x2x15 cm with 2x 8/10mm socket connectors
1x glass tank 25x15x15 cm with 10mm holes
1x lid glass + grid 25x15 cm
1x sand-clay mixture 500g
1x Seramis clay pellets 50g
1x potions (10ml)
1x Ameisennapf 2-fold
1x rubber stopper 6.0 - 10.0 mm
1x rubber stopper 9.0 - 13.0 mm
1x rubber basin connector 10mm
1m clear hose 14/10 mm
1x forceps spring steel - sharp
1x plastic pipette

Nothing about Drainage.

Are you sure it's missing? The drainage tubes look like this:

....Yes i'm sure it's not there, although as i said it does not say it SHOULD be there (although i don't know what a Ameisennapf is). I checked the contents against the list both in the box and online

The Ameisennapf is a food bowl. You could build your own drainage tube by using a 25cm part of the 1m clear hose.

You could also use an drinking straw. You can buy that at the local supermarket or get some from a bar or something. Don't forget to close it with some cotton on the top so that the ants don't fall into it and drown or use at a nest or something.
