Bless: Questions & Answers how to move ants (3. Aug 2004 12:24)

Hi! My Ants (Lasius Niger) arrived fine about 2 days ago. I have attached them to the farm, put a small about of honeywater at the entrance and given then quite time but they just wont move from the test tube. I read it can take a few days for them to move the queen in, but not a single worker has even attempted to explore the farm. They sit about all day looking very lazy. Im so worried! Any hints or tips as to how to get my ants to make the farm thier home?

Many thanks!

Bless.

Please has patience. With Lasius niger it will take about days or weeks.
With kinds such as C ligniperda it takes 2-3 days to the farm through digs has.
