does anyone know if Prenolepis imparis has any sort of special needs as compared to other begener ants?
Hm, not sure about that. I think they basicly need the same stuff as other species.
False honey ants are almost like Lasius niger when it comes to taking care of them, they are very easy to keep.
ok thank you very much
okay, this is going to be sort of a log of my false honey ants.^^ Right now I have 3 colonies, each with about 15 - 25 workers in it. All, sadly, are still in test tubes and I have to stunt their growth as much as possible until I have a place for each of them.
I hope you can put them in a bigger setup soon. Don't forget to post some pictures.
How long did it take your P renolepis imparis queens to lay eggs after they broke off their wings?
