Sorry for being so naive, I am afterall an experienced ant keeper and long time customer of Antsore for about a year now, but if GLS took a package on Thursday by next day delivery, would they then have to deliver it the next day even though it is Good Friday? Or would they keep it and deliver it on Saturday (but I think they don't deliver on Saturday) or would they keep it and deliver it on Tuesday, which is the next working day? Thanks for your help. I only ask because I just ordered some exotic ants today.
Hi!
Hm I think they deliver it on tuesday. DHL delivers on saturday, GLS doesn`t when my informations are right. Friday is free-day (eastern) so I think you will get it earliest on tuesday. #-o
You could not pay any of those options. DHL would deliver to GB on holiday for like 200 euro... GLS would deliver on Saturday for at least 100 euro, i guess.
If i order ants i always do it on monday. ;) That way they have a hole week to deliver.
Oops, it looks like I should have waited till Tuesday. I am experiencing some problems at the moment and am talkling to anstore on the phone. I will let you know what eventually happens.
Having said that I have just checked Antstore's website and they are now out of stock of the ants I ordered so I guess its good that I ordered when I did.
Hello highered,
yes we have all do what was possible.
yesterday afternoon you have make in the order, and we have pack it very fast and we send it some minutes later.
but GLS told us, that the parcelforce (partner of GLS) can not find the adress which we have got from you.
we have got this info:
gls-express-uk.jpg
we think, for the species is it not a problem, because the temperature is now perfect. and the parcel is in the deport not outside.
but for the future I think it is realy better to order on the beginn of the week.
or you write this text "please send the parcel on dd.mm.jjjj"
greetings
Ok, yes in the future I think it would be a better idea to either order at he begaining of the week or ask you post it out at the begainning of the week.
