Okay i shall try to explain it. ;)

Lasius niger 'milk' affids in there own environment. They don't eat them.
Lasius flavus 'milk' woodlice. This species stays a lot underneath the ground, where also woodlice live. They live together there (in peace ;)) but woodlice are not very useful above ground. So it wont help if you just put them in the tube of the ants. (if you know what i mean).
I also keep this species but i don't give them woodlice. In nature they keep them but it is difficult to give them to them in captivity. They can do without them.
