hi Max,
normally not, i haven't had one ant that was trapped in it. Don't use a dish to big.
good luck
Hey Jimmy thanks to some help, I see your photo in your diary(pallidula), i see that u use dish with sponge, now use it with sponge only for water ?and without sponge for honeymix?, or u use always drop on the stone to give honeymix like in photo?
sorry for bad english
I hope u understand me
Thanks
Max
i understand ;) my English is not so good ether.
with sponge for water (not necessary) and without the sponge for honey mix. sometimes i drop a little one a stone to give it to them. small colonies don't need much honey-water. i give them fresh 2-3 times a week.
If you have other questions, just ask.

hi Max,
You have to start somewhere, when i started i had a lot of questions. And many people helped me, so I'm doing it now. ;) (and I'm learning everyday, there are still a lot off things i don't now about ants)
but there are something you just have to learn by trying.

Hello everyone, I have not found information around on this, but the earthworm is eatable for the ants?

lol Iv tried to feed my ants earthworms and have found that worms are much tougher than i ever thought! Never could kill them!
@NeedfF.
But have u tried to give them already dead and in small pieces? could be interesting because is very easy to cultivate earthworms...

Max
a small colonie could not kill them, but if you kill the worm before giving to your ants, they probably eat them! ;)
I will try and say us if this worms will be appreciates.
