ok thanks il do that. i put the a heat mat half way up the tube at 27c is that ok?

PS: its just that i get annyoed when people dont know what they are talking about(12 months for a egg!thats just stupid/)

Lol 2 months from egg to worker, no way. Maybe with huge temperatures and miniworkers. Too big temp makes them live faster but shorter. 6-12 months is actually not so bad estimate with normal temperatures.

And moxi, you should understand that a major worker might take twice as long to develop as a normal worker..

Yes, 20-25 celsius is for most central and nort european species, and 25-30 for southern european.
