i mean what is so bad about having a small colony in a ytong? you can always check on them very easy and the conditions in a tube are optimal well surely a ytong will be just as good if i care for them properly

ytong can be as good as testube, but they dont need so much space. you can mae very small ytong too if you want.

lol but i just made a good piece of y tong(quite big) .couldnt i put my small colony (6) in there? what would they do with the free space? do you think i should let them choose?

I answered already :P you can put any size colony you want in a ytong

lol well if you did that the colony would live normal but they will put there trash in chambers in the ytong as its to big so they will put there trash in it :)
