It is not really bad (as long if it doesn't get so bad your ants get stuck in it) but like Paul said, if you look into the nest you only see condensation and no ants.

Yeah, I had a couple of ants stuck in condensation when the room is cold, and I can't see anything (except the condensation!). I know I need ventilation, but it still becomes a problem with a warm tank in a cold room. All the glass arrives in a few days - I'll try to post some pictures when it's all made.
