@ mzfckr: if i'm not mistaken this is your first farm ? Very nice ! My first farm s*ck*d. ;) Looking good. Make the water system soon, before you move your ants in it. Myrmica rubra like moist ground (farm).

@ SteveUK28: Okay that was a silly question ;) hehe, just kidding, we all had to start somewhere so it not silly if you do now know it. If you like you can look at the Gallery here at antstore, there a lot of farms, so you can see yourself how nice you can make them. ;)

yes thats my first farm.my rubra have hibernation till january so i have time.

about the watersystem.any tips or advices making the ''ytong leg''?? whats the size of it?

Don't make it to small, the "leg". At least 3-4cm width. If it is to small it will not suck up enough water to keep the nest moist.
