I wanted to answer to You as well, but I don’t have that starter set and I don’t know in which part You are applying water.
The best way is to make some parts of the sand a bit wet(in example-corner), while other parts should be dry. Workers will chose the best place.
(I know I should improve my English, sorry)
and i anserw to wrong people :D sorry about that.

Cotton wool has a lot of disadvantages. Was it recommended by Antstore?
I would replace cotton wool with gravel.
no i think it was in mizt's care sheet but its working fine for now but the question is how much water i need to add once a week?
Try to keep you pictures a little smaller (in size) mzfckr.
I depends, you should try it out first before you put the ants in it. Put water in it and after a few days look how much sand is dried up (depends on the humidity and heating of course) Keep the sand moist not wet. Good luck. ;)
but what about '''the dump line'' ?that is that line where you can see the dry and damp sand meet.and i need this damp line or i need all the sand damp?
You have to keep the whole sand damp. Because when its getting dry the sand get very hard and the ants could not ditch.
ok thanks but how much water to add ?cause i realy dont know someone can helpme please?
Add 20ml and watch what is happening. Repeat this if necessary.
if crack more water ?
