Yes pretty much :) until a point of course. But the first few generations will be bigger than the previous one.

@mpir: didn't know the majors had red heads cool :)

In deed, they have nice red heads, ;) and if they are getting older the heads will turn black.

Nice pictures Jimmy, although i dont really like the furmicarium. Looks rather messy. Wouldn't put that in my living room :P
Hmm no "antbread" I see their stored seeds supplies but htey haven't been munched down and OMG look at the quantity of brood in that chambers.
Creapy! How old is that colony?

I not sure how old they are. They are from MIKA not mine.

Verban is right. Second generation will be bigger than the first one. However this does not mean that later on you will have only big ants. Also when your colony will be lets say 300+ very small ants will still appear.

in deed, every size has works specially for them. Soldiers do most of the time the have work and minors keep the nest clean and stuff. ;)
