I actually tried once to buy a queen harvester ant from the states but they told me that it was impossible for them to send one to europe, i only hope one european store some day can get some of that species queens.

I am sure some americans on the forum can send you a queen. At least you can import one in europe. So maybe make a thread and ask? I will stick to my messors barbarus for now though, but would also be interested.

So barbatus or maricopa? Don't know anything spefici about the barbatus but the maricopa have the most poisonous venom (harmless to humans ;))
