Or use the "edit" function. Please dont start picking up ants from the garden to sell them. Lasius flavus is not so rare that hyper woulndt be able to find them himself in his backyard. Also, i dont think its adequate to do this. If you want to, pass the queen on for free. Money aint worth half as much as a friendly gesture, and its nicer then asking for money from stuff the nature supplies everywhere for free.

I agree

I dug them up because the garden was getting redone so There whole colony would just die out so I though it should be good saving them :)

Hi all,

@Necturus: I totaly agree.
@Kiam: Kiam i think you should put them in the woods or somthing.

Kiam: (12. Jun 2007 20:44)

Nah I still want them to try and help them grow

and its nicer then asking for money from stuff the nature supplies everywhere for free.

umm antstore sells them for money and its nature ;)

And hyper why do you say you agree when you asked to buy them heh

Antstore is a shop, they live from selling. ;)

I prefer trading but sometimes i need to buy some ants. ;) I only trade them ore send and ask the money for shipping cost.

Ok anyways since im getting rushed im buying a starter set on antstore :) But I have one question for to be answered The ants have these little black bits in there nest I think there off like insects and they have made it in a pile does that mean its trash or there still going to consume it ?

hypervelocity: (13. Jun 2007 16:45)

Hi all,

Kiam i think its trash, maby a more expireanced myrmecologist can awnser.

sithmaster676: (13. Jun 2007 18:52)

hi
i would say it is the inedible bits of fly and insects you have given them, if they pay no attention to it then just remove it
is it inside the nest or outside the entrance?

i'm not sure i understand but i think it is trash, remove the trash every time you feed. (keeps the out world a bit clean. ;) )
