Yes, you can use silicon to stick them together. However be careful that ants don't get in touch with it. Use it only on the outside. Some silicon might harm ants if they chew on it, especially because they have social stomac and they share food so the whole colony might be hurt.

Silicone should work well.
Delivery for me takes around 4 days but some people have said it has taken them 10 days.

Ham is not an ideal food for ants, even though they will probably eat it. But processed/spiced/fumed meat might harm their development.
Insects on the other hand are tried and true.
