Is this PVC stuff easy to see through?

Depending on the light you'll be able to watch most of what the ants do below the PVC. For better view just pick it up. So don't glue it, just put some tape on one side.

keep in mind that most of the ants don't see true RED PVC, but Lasius niger does. so maybe its better to take black PVC. (most Lasius sp. does) From other species its not proven jet.
