I try to follow the seasons, here for example (in North Italy) cold season start at middle november, and end at middle march approximatly, every year is not the same of other year, sometimes it start in late november, first of december, and end in late february or late march....

hello all i back my Lasius niger are doing well there out of hibernation.
The queen is laying eggs lots off them too
But there still in the test tube oh well may be in the summer they will move out.
When i get a Camera that can zoom in on them.
What do you think well be a good ant for my second farm?

That is up to you Darkharry, there are plenty of species you can keep. ;) You just need to decide which one. And study about them before you are going to keep them.
