Hello
I have a question, do any one know what clock on the even you can find the new queens? Because they are maiting today in Denmark (:
And I'll talk about Lasius Niger.
Please help, so thanks ..
well normally the winged males and queens will appear at their nest entrances on a hot day after it has rained, so they only fly when its hot and humid. Then after the flight you can find the fertilised queens on the ground 30mins-1 hour and 30 mins later.
Normally in england flights take place around early evening and you would find the queens in the middle or late evening of the day.
Hope i helped :D
Hello, but what clock will it be, 20, or 21?(:
well im guessing by clock u mean time and normally they would fly from around 15:00 until 19:00
But could be later those times are only from my own expierences

When u have catch a queen, how long will there go before she lays eggs?(:
like i said in my first post on this thread itl be 30min to 1hour30min after their flight when they land back on the ground,
But these times could vary alot.
Depends on the queen and conditions the captured queen is in, A happy and good conditions would just mean the queen lays eggs quicker. You cant put a specific time for this...
Can there go 2-5 days?(:
Is a test tube fine to put your queen in? And can u give her a little bit honey?(: Or shall I nothink give her?(:
Yes a test tube is fine, don't forget to put water in it, than cotton en than the queen. Seal up the tube with another cotton. You may give here sweets but it is not really necessary.
How long will it take for the first workers to be adult? 30 days or 40 days?(:
