maybe i need to add more or add less water?colony is myrmica rubra.

No that sand is not suitable, it is decoration sand, for in a out world ore something like that. you need to take real sand.

Your sand is only for decoration.

My sand is for farms.

Yeah.....you should use "mine" sand. So they can dig into the sand. The other sand is too slack. You run the risk that the tunnels collapse....and that is the worst thing that could happen. ;)

You need to wash the sand in hot temperature.
