ThomasEngine: What are some good fast growing european ant species? (4. Mai 2021 15:16)

I live in Italy, i've been getting informations on antkeeping for more than two years now and i feel confident getting my first queen. I couldn't really find any up to date informations so i decided to ask here; i'd like an ant species which is small (workers not larger than 1 cm possibly), grows fairly quickly and most importantly, one that doesn't stay in hybernations for more than 3 months, i'm kinda of in love with Formica Cinerea but the hybernation period worries me.
