This site has some ant colonies that anstore don't currently have in stock. http://antsectopia.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=89
I'm interested in buying from them but am suscipious as they don't give their contact details on their site. Does anyone have any experience with them please? Thanks.
i dont have any experience with them but cerapachys biroi sounds really interesting.
This is a good site, i might use it in future. But i dont thinks ANTSOTE would like you to place other areas to shop ants on there web sites. On the other hand they could use the info on prices to be the best ant shop in the WORLD.
theres no issue putting other sites, checkout the links section at the bottom of the main forum page :D lots more cool ant sites there :)
Haha. The german translations on this site are really funny. Everybody who speaks german: Check it out! really entertaining ;)
LG Felix
That is true Felix ;) Still a bit off-topic.
There are some nice species at this site. But expensive if they need to send them to Europe.

Hey!
This is my first post! Woo hoo!
Sorry...
Anyway!
I got my Lasius Niger colony from ansectopia, arrived speedily, well packaged (Very!) and I got a healthy queen and more workers than I bargained for with lots of eggs, some brood, and 1 cocoon!
I must say that I was very impressed!
Though the only reason I got my Nigers from them is that antstores P+P to the UK makes it a little to expensive...
AND they were on special offer!
I think I got (at least *I am being conservative*) 15+ workers and a queen for £7 something.... (Free P+P to the UK)
So yes!
My experience was very good indeed!
Though my Nigers are such a small colony that they do not do much and I hardly ever see them!
(Is so much fun to see the first generation minims though! Sooo teesity weensity) :D
Hope this helps!
Hello armyoforigin and welcome.
Thank you for sharing your experience with this shop.
Don't worry about your colony, if they get bigger they will be much more active. (but this is off-topic, there are plenty of topics that handle Lasius niger )
