miszt: Does anyone have any spare coccons of Camponotus ligniperda? (31. Mai 2008 15:29)

I have a Queen (from marc) but she hasnt layed any eggs in 3 weeks (since she was sent to me, although I've had her only a few days) and I'm worried she may have used up her resources :(

Could anyone send me a couple of coccons from their colony? 2-3 would do fine, just to give her a helping hand getting back on track :D

PM if anyone can help! I dont want her to die!

I would happily send you those if i had.. I only have Camponotus Herculeanus colonies, if it is ok i can send you a couple of cocoons for free.

don't ligniperda eat other cocoons/eggs/larvae from other queens ?

I only have early stage larvae at the moment, no coccoons for a couple of months

My colony is to small to spare some cocoons Miszt, i'm sorry. I it was bigger i would gladly send you some.
