what do u do if u feed ur colony a wild insect and u think they have some sort of parasites?
thats a good piece of advice for the future... i microwaved the moth for a bit before giving them the moth, but i bet that did nothing. what can i do once they get a parasite though? im hoping they dont, but i wanna be prepared.
o... what about parasites inside the ants?

Since ants live underground in mould area, most do, they have a very strong immune system to defend themselves against parasites. Furhtermore their bodies secrete anti bacterial substances which makes their body generaly a bad place for parasites and as they walk its spread aroud inside the nest's tunnels.
Or to put it simply since the world in which they live is infested with parasites, nature made them quire resilient to thsoe
