Hi adam james, I´m sura that your ants will never take the sugarwater, becouse they dont like this. But they like much House crickets and Grasshoppers , spiders or other insects ;-)

Can I ask what you are using for heating and humidification and is the ferra rosha box only a temporary thing.
there in my ant room whitch is kept at 25-30c by thermostat and keept moist via drops of water applied to sand by pipete evry day.
ps. yes the box is only a tempery thing until colony is up and running.
Hi mike at the moment there in a test tube with water then a cotton wool bung.They were in a tank full of soil but they moved from this for some reason and have been living fine they were in the test tube for three weeks and not one worker died the they started dying none have died now and im hoping the larva are going to pupate soon but when they get big they just dissapear so i dont know whats going on.They are now eating loads of fruit flys so they carnt be hungry and the queen is still laying.
Hi mike no they havent died exept for my componotus herculeanus queen. my brother had a really bad car crash so i havent been on here ive just been on to check my emails and messages hes out now and fine so i will start updateing my info on my colonies.

Hi mike and necturus yeah hes fine now thanks for asking he was kept in due to major head injuries but his head swelling has gone down now so all is well and hes come home and is back to normal. :occasion02: many greetings Adam
