Hi can eneyone tell me how long it takes for a camponatus hercuelanus larva take to grow, pupate then hatch into a worker :?: I know the eggs take a few days to hatch.Thankyou for reading. Adam :cya:

thanks ill note down how long it takes but she wont lay now until her larva are workers but if she does lay. The eggs will become food for her or her larva.

HI my queen isnt hibernating i recently recieved her from antstore she came with a small buntch of larva. my queen is in my ant room witch is keept at 27-30c so to her its spring or summer. i thought she might eat her new eggs as nouresment to keep her going till her first workers hatch.write back.ADAM

she has had some sugar water and she drunk the fluids from a maggot i cut for her so i hope she might lay soon. One of the larvas are growing big fast so i hope it pupates soon.write back.ADAM

hi mike what are pinkys My queen seems to be paying attention to one larva as its growing more than the rest and looks bigger evry day .She also carrys it around by itself when moving them as it doesent stick to the others anymore.write back greetings adam.

HI mike ive have been feeding her pinkys only here in england there called maggots and the meaning for pinkys here are dead newborn mice or rats. Sorry for the mix up. eneyway my queen is fine. HI mike just thought to let you know she ate the biggest larva as it is not there any more and she wont touch sugar water honey or pinkys. Running out of ideas.She has still got a small bunch of larva (about 8) and one big larva please help greetings ADAM.PS.Shes on a thin layer of sand so she hasnt buried it. :cya:
