You can keep them in ytong but (if i'm not mistaken) you need to keep in mind that they can dig through it.
They like hot temperature so i suppos 30°C will do just fine. Maybe lower it a bit at night time.
I would feed the small colony some insects and if they reach 10 workers (or so) you can start giving them seeds to. Still keep them feeding insects.
Wouldn't go for only seeds.

They certainly can, and very quickly. Do not expect them to be well behaved!
