Hi!
I'm an italian Biology student.
I study Insects evolution and molecular biology, but the next year I'll start the Ph. D and I want to do it on ants.
I studied ants for about 3 years and now I think it's time to have a colony!! :-D

I want to buy a colony of Camponotus ligniperda.
Can you tell me which articles I can buy to best breed this kind of ants?

Sorry that I write you so late, but I had problems with my pc and couldn´t go online. But now to your question (sorry my english is not as well, too :o)

or an basin with a size ~ 60x30x30 cm (this article would not be saled here by ANTSTORE).

I´m not sure if you had seen that the describtion of the ants is translated... there are some informations how to breed this specie. If you already have some questions please let me know, this time I´ll answer to you faster :O)

If I understand you correctly you want to study these ants for your Diplom or Master, so there is the question which point you want to study?

I'm not going to study these particular ants in my Ph D... I just want to have a colony... After years of theory I want to see "the real world"!! :D

By the way... I think that I willl study ants molecular systematics and evolution. I would like also to study evolutionary biology and reproductive biology, but the it depends on my prof.!!! ;D
