ant dude: (12. Jan 2008 17:03)

and guess wot steve i'm not the only one who thinks i have a major see......

SteveUK28: (12. Jan 2008 17:27)

i didnt say u didnt lol.. i said it was unusual in such a small colony size.

ant dude: (12. Jan 2008 17:41)

yeah right steve i belive u lol

u normally recive majors when u order Camponotus ligniperda from antstore, as my other colony where the queen was dead when i recived the package i recived 2-3 majors steve

miszt: (12. Jan 2008 18:14)

that is strange, can only assume that Antstore add pupa from other colonies to the queens

JimmyVe: (12. Jan 2008 18:35)

hm... Don't think Antstore would add pupa to a colony to create majors in it. I never received a colony that small with majors. Are you sure it's a major, on the pictures you post i can not see if it is one ore not.

miszt: (12. Jan 2008 19:29)

there is one large worker, sitting on the cotton wool above the queen in the last pic, looks to big to be a minor, espcially for 1st gen workers, who are smaller than minors anyway

ant dude: (12. Jan 2008 20:09)

well i'm sure it is a major it has a large shape head and that.......hm i'll try to get some more pics for u guys, then so we can have a better look:grin: but i have lost my phone somwhere round my house lol, i'm gonna try and find it then.......
