@JimmyVe

Fungus is problem sometimes... but I always put cotton in in one piece. So I pull it out and put new one in. Whole proces takes only a few seconds. I've never tryed cley balls ( :D ) so I can't say what is more practical. Maybe having balls is better. :grin:

Having balls indeed is better :D

I have heard about others who take cotton as well, and it works too, it depends on what you like more personally

@Fabian

Maybe I'm wrong but I was thought at school that clay will hold water, not absorbe it. If you have lots of clay in ground you will have a lot of standing water if it rains. Like a small swiming pool. So I'm not sure how would clay balls :D help in this matter.

Mh .. it's diffucult to discribe what i mean, i think ^^

;) this is not actually clay, it are small clay balls ;) (damn) they are made of clay so there is always some room between them so the water can reach the y-tong.
