I really dont know why they kill other queens. Maybe Jimmy could say something about it
The only reason i can think of now is that they just kill the new queens because they are getting in the way. If they do not fly out most of them are getting killed, some of them will help around in the nest like workers.
But there can be many other reasons, stress maybe...

What humidity and temperature must p.dives be kept at? :sun01:
I have myne currently at 24-26C, this is fairly low for dives, I would prefer to keep them at 26-28, but my heater is not working to well so I've set it lower, as I dont want to cook them lol Humidity doesnt matter to much, but they are tropical, so humid is good :) my main basin is 60-80%
yeah they are pretty big Steve, my biggest workers are 12-14mm
