i have finally i found a site that have got a colony of harpegnathos venator for sale and i will be ordering them at the end of the month. iv'e set up a 3 foot fish tank with ytongs around the sides.[i will try to post pics later] have any one got any tips?? how big will the colony get?. thanks

The colony can get about 300 workers, maybe bigger but not much.
Don´t feed them big crickets, feed them spiders and small crickets thats the best food for Harpegnathos how I found out keeping mine.
Also in Nature they have a nest that is made of one massiv chamber, I made a nest of ytong with ine chamber and they love it, won´t move out ever.
They don´t like very bright light they like it a little darker. Temperature about 24-26°C is the best humidity of the air is not that important but humidity of the nest is important. Nest should always be moist.
Also mine Harpegnathos saltator can walk on fat when they go backwards, also they can slowley move on talk, that is a real problem.
