I would give them some Water to dring elsewhere. Of course your testtube is enought but it`s better if they can drink without any cotton somewhere.

They are perfect hunting killlers? My ones didn't have a clue what they were doing. I gave them big flies that were black and they were able to grab them but didn't kill them, it took alot longer to kill them then you d think, and these were soft unarmoured flies!

@ highered: I have a colony on my own and they are perfect hunters. They kill crickets bigger then they are. They even attack out of the jump. Maybe you did something wrong.

@Messorus: Yes, but this thread is about Harpegnathos so i didn´t mention the others.^^

@ P.O.N.S.: Yes, you are right.
But they sometimes dring sugarwater, too. You can give it to them once a week and they may drink it.
