Well, the queen can have from 2 'til 2.5 cm.
The worker can reach the 1.5 cm. The ones you see with the queen in the pick, are the first nurses and they are newborn.
The are a very interesting specie to have, because they nurse very carefully the youngers and the queen. Nice to see.

Oh my god. Very beautiful queen! 2,5 cm queen sounds unbelievable, HUGE! Camponotus Herculeanus which is the biggest ant in the europe is 16-18 mm (queen)..

And the new mummy. The worker in this pick has only few minutes of like. It's still transparent.
