Hey guys,
on that behalf, my girlfriend suprised me with a Camponotus sericeus queen today ;) !
Going to show some pictures as soon as i get my hands on the cam cable tomorrow.
The queen looks like a gold coin! Breathtakingly beautifull. In the few hours of her stay here, she already layed some extra eggs, and now im looking forward to seeing a new colony start :)
Jimmy, best luck on getting your girlfriend used to our wonderfull pets. As soon as the enthusiasm start, she will want them all over the house;)
Best of luck for you in your new home and that new part of your life!
Greetings,
Necturus

Yeah relly nice pics necturus. Do you make a holding bulletin (dont know the English word ;) ) from this ant in the German forum?

Necturus: (25. Nov 2007 21:20)

thanks guys. im considering writing a report, but it will probably take a while before i'll get it startet, my time is completely consumed by university at the moment. something like 50-60 hours a week...
Brood developement is somewhat slow too, so i think it will be a few weeks before the action starts ;)
Greetings,
Necturus

I see after much weeks no action at my Camponotus cf. crassus. Hope you dont have the same fate ;)
