Here is a series of videos that link together from the time I first kept my Tetramorium queen in a test tube to now:
The story begins here:

If you watch to the end of each video, it will display the link of the next video following chronologically. It will continue to update always linking all the way to the most recent video. Enjoy! :)

Nice videos. You mentioned your album, so I looked you up. Did you really appear on Canadian Pop Idol?
I wonder what all the other people on here do when they aren't studying ants?
Thank you! lol yeah, I'm now a pop recording artist, but my love for ants has not ceased! Canadian Idol started my career. My fans have no idea how much I'm into ants, though lol.
Yeah, maybe keep that to yourself.
Glad it worked out for you.
lol pop artist/ ant breeder. thats one i have never heard of before. congratulations on your music achievement. il be sure to check it out :D
Thanks guys. I do have a question for any experienced in raising Tetramorium caespitum. Do they like dry nests? It seems they like to inhabit the completely dry chambers (near the top of my pumice stone nest design) and they stay away from the moist areas of the nest towards the bottom near the water reservoirs. Should I water the nest less frequently so the entire nest stays dry?
On another note, they ate their first solid meal last night - a few dead fruit flies. They're now up to seven workers and the number is increasing every day. :) Will be posting more videos soon.
