i have a small colony of Temnothorax nylanderi, i have read that i can keep more than one colony together,could some one confirm this for me as i would hate to order another 3 colonys and put the together only to cause a big fight,also if anyone would like to share there experiences with this ant with me,please do

Depends whether they are competing for resources, in space, food and water.

They are timid, but they are still ants, and they are still terratorial, all depends how u keep them :)

in deed, it is possible to keep more colonies from this species together but they still need enough room and food.
