Kale^^: Pheidole pallidula (24. Sep 2008 19:53)

I received one healthy colony of P heidole pallidula from McK today.
Contains queen, + 15-20workers. They came in a mini test tube, which was drieing up so i put them a new one.

Some pictures (bad quality, those are SMALL!)

then the queen came in and BOOM! the head+thorax were separated from the abdomen. Good job!

They are doing well. They haven't yet produced any workers after arriving, but there was very little brood when they came, and now there is some pupa and larva&eggs.

mine are just mental atm.. they have produced loads this summer. I think they also have like 20 soilders.. your in for a treat kale... feed them up and you'll soon have a massive colony.
