Hey,

A bit more information would help, what set up are they in? What is the colony size?

odesssus: Re: My queen (4. Sep 2010 17:06)

well it was a lot bigger around 10 ants in all now i can only see 3 includeing the queen .could it be to dry for them?

Well when I had my Pheidole pallidula they did like quite a damp nest but to be honest they aren't too fussy about humidity, but for such a small colony a test tube set up is the best thing, mine only moved into a sand nest when they had around 200 workers.
I think if you put them in a covered test tube set up they should settle down, letting them have anything bigger is a bit risky, you know they will be safe in a test tube set up until they have enough workers to maintain a bigger nest.

i have now given the farm a spray of walter she walked off for a bit but is now back by the walter dish

I agree with Armyoforigin the queens will not feel secure in such a large tank and therefor not lay any eggs, move them into a test tube set-up or atleast a smaller basin, i would say no more than 20cm by 20cm.
