hi just windering if it is best to put these in a y-tong off antstore flat down in a tank or a tank filled 3/4 with sand?
please help. :)

ull find the face down one better so you can see them as there so small

Best is to put them in a setup where they can not dig through. (so ytong and gysum are not really an option)

you could use other material thoe like acrylic nest

Yes they can. Don't lett the size of these ants fool you, they are small but have strong jaws. :)

but if they dig they will hit glass as the y-tong would be on the inside of the tank. so should go no where. :)
