yeah they are but they have many different classes from small minor to large major :)

They are in deed tiny, that is why they are such master in escaping. ;)
myne are settling into there nu panoramic farm basin now :D although i made the load mix far to wet, so will be a week or so b4 they move into the farm from the test tube i recon :D they are frantic lil things! great to watch :D
in deed, when the colony gets bigger it is very nice to see them busy, when i feed them it is very crowded ;) about 20 soldiers and 200 workers all working together dragging to food back to there nest.
If you have picture of them, please show us. ;)
will do once they settle in, theres a huge brood already, at least 50 larvae n lots of pups n eggs :D
when a colony is large the queen almost constantly lays eggs so that the colony can still grow

I have now some new ants ,Pheidole sp from Egypt ... and when is pallidula tiny ,so this is super tiny :lol: :) ,queen is circa 5 mm long with red head/thorax and with black gaster. I have not workers ,only 6 queens ,but I saw some in my hotel room and they looks GREAT ... big highways to my food bag :lol: ,looks like Dorylus (majors stays near of way with open jaws) ,very nice! ... photos of queens will be soon ;) :)
