Hi i just been told i could get a few queens added i already have 2 but i was told everytime he adds queens they always get killed so now im not sure if i only have 1 queen now

is this a common problem should i not bother?

you can add new queens but its best to add them when there hibernating

In deed, it is possible to add new queens to a existing colony of Myrmica . Most of the time they will be accepted but like gabranth said it is best to do this when the colony is in hibernation. A few weeks/days before they wake up.
